Questions

Good to know.

Who will my therapist be?

Most of our therapists are skilled, experienced trainee counsellors and psychotherapists, supervised by experienced professionals. They are fully insured, DBS certified and members of the BACP or UKCP. Qualified therapists are also available at a higher price point.

How much will it cost?

Sessions are on a sliding scale based on your yearly household income, from £20 to £50. Over £50k, the fee is discussed at your assessment. See our fees page.

What should I bring to my assessment?

Please bring any benefit letters or proof of income so we can agree your fee. If you're in substantial debt, we'll take this into consideration.

Can I come to you from another service?

Yes. Our enquiry form asks whether you're moving from another service, so we can understand your journey so far.

Do you offer EMDR?

Yes, we offer low-cost EMDR sessions. Read more in Understanding EMDR.

Is this an emergency service?

No. If you're in crisis, please call 999, NHS 111 (option 2 for mental health) or Samaritans on 116 123, any time.
